Youth Honor Choir

The Pacific Chorale Honor Choir, consisting of students from Southern California high school choirs, annually joins forces with the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra (PSYO).

Performing in a world-class venue with the cream of the crop was an incredibly positive experience for my student. It required maturity and discipline to spend his free time rehearsing and performing outside of the classroom setting. The experience showed him what his group was capable of mastering in just a few short weeks. It also served to reward music students who consistently proved their reliability, musical ability and determination to succeed at the high school level. —Honor Choir Parent

There's not a chance for them to perform in this type of professional venue with an orchestra group like the PSYO. It simply doesn't happen. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them...lots of hard work, but an invaluable experience! —Teacher of a PC Honor Choir student

Musicianship Classes

Pacific Chorale's Musicianship Classes

Pacific Chorale offers fun, low-cost, small group classes that utilize choral repertoire as vehicles to help hone musical skills. These interactive classes cover such music topics as: rhythmic and melodic reading, score marking tips and practicing skills. Pacific Chorale's very own Dr. Laura Harrison, well-known for her classes in comprehensive musicianship leads these classes.

To view a description and testimonials from past class participants, please click here.

When you sign up 2 weeks before each class begins, enjoy $5 off the regular registration price at $75. Those who register after the early registration deadline will pay the full registration amount of $80 (total cost is based on $20 per day for two-hour sessions).
Note: We can only confirm the class if we meet the minimum enrollment of 15 students per class. Space is limited.

To ensure that you are placed in a class that is at your current musicianship level, please take a short assessment to identify which class would be best for you.
