Mass Transmission Mason Bates

California—a land of discovery, innovation, and reinvention. Enjoy this tribute to the variety and creativity of our state’s own resident composers with Morten Lauridsen’s settings of poetry by Robert Graves, and composer and DJ Mason Bates’ evocative retelling for choir, organ and electronics of the earliest international radio transmissions between family members on opposite sides of the world in the 1920s.
