Pacific Chorale stands in solidarity with Black communities

to demand an end to violence and brutality

resulting from the racism that still suffocates our nation.

The death or George Floyd once again demonstrates

that this inequality is not new and that the voices

of Black communities still have not been heard.

We acknowledge our shortcomings

and commit to embracing the change necessary

to lift the voices of Black communities

in our chorus and in our country.

By listening more, seeking understanding,

and loudly singing the words of freedom,

we can be a part of this change together.
