Celebrating Music’s Impact this Holiday Season

Meet 45-year chorale member Barbara Kingsbury whose commitment to this organization extends beyond her experience as a singer as she is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Pacific Chorale through her service as historian. Throughout her time with Pacific Chorale, Barbara has enjoyed warmth, friendship, and artistic excellence in a setting where a sense of family never waned.

“The Chorale has given me a vital life balance over the course of my career as an oncology nurse and as a family caregiver. The joy I feel and the energy I experience when surrounded by the sounds of my fellow musicians has sustained me though many stressful times. My cares just melt away when I rehearse and perform with the people who have become lifelong friends. Aside from my personal experience with the Chorale, I feel that our community benefits by hearing our music. We take our audience on a journey which invites thoughtful contemplation of new ideas and leaves them with a renewed sense of peace.”

With your support, and the incredible dedication of people like Barbara, we can continue creating life-changing opportunities for singers, and the greater community, through music.

During the holidays, we are reminded of what a crucial role music plays in our lives. Music can unite communities, provide healing, and inspire joy! That is what makes our work so special and impactful.

Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated and make a huge impact in advancing our mission of inspiring community through artistry and innovation in chorale music and education programs this season and beyond!
