Composed by Richard Danielpour, combining text from the traditional Latin Mass with poetry by Walt Whitman, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Michael Harper, and H.D., and dedicated to the memory of those who died in the wake of the tragic events of September 11, 2001; and in tribute to the American Soldier — past, present and future.
