On August 20, Pacific Chorale was honored to participate in a live and virtual broadcast celebrating the unveiling of the Wetterau Family Spiritual Care Center at City of Hope Orange County. This unique interfaith blessing brought together voices and traditions from across the region, united by a shared belief in the healing power of community, compassion, and music.

As part of the broadcast, Pacific Chorale offered musical selections that echoed the purpose of the space: to provide peace, reflection, and hope to those facing the challenges of cancer. Music, like spiritual care, can offer strength when words fall short. 

The Wetterau Family Spiritual Care Center is the first immersive, multi-faith spiritual space of its kind to be located inside a cancer specialty hospital. It is a core element of City of Hope Orange County’s new hospital in Irvine, which is set to open later this year. This groundbreaking center provides patients, families, and caregivers with customizable environments for spiritual reflection, including chapel, temple, mosque, nature, and more—accessible through thoughtfully designed digital experiences.
