Chorus America’s Choral Orchestral Conducting Academy Concert

Join Chorus America, California State University, Fullerton, the Civic Orchestra of Los Angeles, and members of Pacific Chorale for a unique FREE concert on Sunday, July 13 at 3:00pm at CSUF’s Meng Concert Hall. Featuring 12 conductors, this superb biennial pedagogical event is a special summer capstone project.

Jennifer Higdon’s Ruminations sung by the University Singers

Brahms Requiem sung by members of Pacific Chorale and the University Singers

Closing Reception with Refreshments will be provided after the performance.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Chorus America’s Choral-Orchestral Conducting Academy gives choral conductors a unique opportunity to develop choral-orchestral skills and enhance their university training. During this week-long program, participating conductors will have the opportunity to study one-on-one with expert faculty and conduct choral-orchestral repertoire. The Academy culminates with a final performance in Meng Concert Hall on the campus of California State University, Fullerton.
