Pacific Chorale to Perform with the Vienna Philharmonic
The Philharmonic Society of Orange County, our sibling resident company at the Segerstrom Center, this morning announced their 2026-27 season. We are elated to share that Pacific Chorale will perform Mahler's Symphony No. 2 with the Vienna Philharmonic on March 7, 2027 at our very own hall. The concert will be conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, music director of the Metropolitan Opera, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Montreal's Orchestre Métropolitain.
The Vienna Philharmonic is one of the greatest and most historic orchestras in the world. To partner with this distinguished ensemble is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the Chorale and for any American chorus. Information about the concert and the Philharmonic Society's new season may be found here on their website. Stay tuned as more information will be shared in the months ahead, including upcoming season announcements from Pacific Symphony and Pacific Chorale.
