In Loving Memory of Patricia “Trish” O’Donnell
Beloved Supporter and Friend of Pacific Chorale
It is with deep gratitude and sorrow that Pacific Chorale honors the life of Patricia Dwyer O’Donnell, a cherished supporter and devoted member of our community, who passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025.
Trish, as she was lovingly known, played a special role in bringing our Carols by Candlelight concerts to life—a program that held deep meaning for her and her beloved husband, John. As a generous concert sponsor, she helped ensure the continued tradition of this cherished holiday program, held at her home parish of Our Lady Queen of Angels in Newport Beach. Her support made it possible for countless audience members to experience the beauty and joy of the season, and her presence in the sanctuary was a gift in itself.
Though her public service and family life touched many corners of Orange County and beyond, we at Pacific Chorale will remember Trish for the warmth she brought to our concerts and the quiet generosity that made her a pillar of our artistic family. Ours was a long and meaningful relationship, and we are grateful for every moment shared.
Trish’s remarkable life of faith, family, and service is beautifully reflected in her published obituary, which offers a glimpse into the spirit and legacy she leaves behind.
From all of us at Pacific Chorale, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the O’Donnell family. May her memory continue to shine as brightly as the candlelit sanctuary she so loved.
A memorial mass will be said in her memory at Our Lady Queen of Angels in Newport Beach on Saturday, June 7th at 9:30 AM, led by her dear friend, Msgr. Kerry Beaulieu, with reception to follow at The Pacific Club.
